Week 18 of the 2023 NFL season concluded on Sunday Night Football with the Green Bay Packers missing out on the playoffs following a shock loss at home to NFC North rivals Detroit.
The 14 teams have been confirmed, with the Kansas City Chiefs (14-3) earning the number 1 seed in the AFC and the Philadelphia Eagles (14-3) in the NFC.
It’s worth noting that if the Chiefs meat the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship game that it would be played on a neutral venue because of the week 17 postponement in Buffalo resulting in the team playing one less game.
The Kansas City Chiefs are the favourites to win Super Bowl 2023, with odds of 17/5, closely followed by the Buffalo Bills (4/1).
Philadelphia should not be overlooked at 5/1 whilst San Francisco 49ers rookie quarterback Brock Purdy has a perfect 5-0 record with a talented cast around him. The NFC West division winners are 11/2 fourth favourites.
An all-NFC West matchup starts the 2023 NFL playoffs this weekend as the Seattle Seahawks travel to San Francisco in th first game on Saturday, followed bu the LA Chargers’ trip to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Sunday sees the Buffalo Bills hosting the Miami Dolphins followed by the New York Giants at Minnesota Vikings, before concluding with an all-AFC North meeting between the Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals.
