What are the odds for Arsenal to win the Premier League?

Following Arsenal’s 0-0 draw at home to Newcastle United in the Premier League on Tuesday night, the Gunners extended their lead at the top of the table to eight points.

However, Manchester City have a game in hand to reduce the gap. They travel to West London on Thursday night to face Chelsea.

Arsenal have raised a lot of eyebrows with their results in the first half of the season and with 21 games remaining they are guaranteed to top the table.

Mikel Arteta’s side still have to face Manchester City twice between now and the end of the season, with the first of those fixtures coming at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday 15th February.

Afterwards, Manchester City will have the distraction of the UEFA Champions League, which many feel Pep Guardiola could shift focus to, resulting in dropped points in the Premier League in fixtures either side of their knockout ties.

Arsenal certainly carry the advantage heading into the second half of the campaign, but the bookmakers aren’t as confident as they still make the defending champions the odds on favourites to retain. Arsenal are currently 5/4 to win the 2022-23 Premier League title.

Those odds are set to shift on Thursday following the Chelsea-Manchester City game.
