The 2022 NFL season kicks off on Thursday night as defending Super Bowl champions LA Rams welcome the Buffalo Bills to the SoFi Stadium.
Sean McVay’s side are among the pre-season favourites to retain but it’s their opening night opponents that have been given the shortest odds by the bookmakers.
Sean McDermott’s side were eliminated in overtime in the Divisional Round of the playoffs to the Kansas City Chiefs back in January, despite scoring a touchdown on every offensive drive. Fortunately, the NFL has changed the rules for overtime this season, at least in the playoffs.
Since then, the Bills have added two-time Super Bowl champion Von Miller to the roster. The 33-year-old could be a vital influence in the locker room and productive on the field. Roger Saffold at Guard from the Tennessee Titans is another excellent free agent signing whilst there aren’t really any significant losses on the roster.
