Who are the favourites for the 2022-23 Champions League?

Real Madrid surprised many as they lifted the UEFA Champions League trophy for a record 14th time with a 1-0 victory over Liverpool back in May.

The Premier League side had been favourites going into the final and it’s another English top flight club that’s favourites heading into the new campaign.

Manchester City have been made the 12/5 favourites before the groups have even been drawn. Pep Guardiola’s side have had the pre-season favourites tag for a number of seasons now, having won the Premier League in four of the past five campaigns.

Could the addition of Erling Haaland make the difference? The Norwegian superstar has arrived on Borussia Dortmund and is expected by many to be the final piece of the puzzle to help the Citizens lift the biggest prize in European club football for the first time.

City are followed by French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain as the second favourites at 5/1, followed closely by Liverpool (11/2) and Bayern Munich (6/1).
