The Divisional Round concludes on Sunday night when the Buffalo Bills travel to the Kansas City Chiefs for a place in the AFC Championship.
These two are the favourites to reach the Super Bowl from the AFC side, with many thinking it’s a foregone conclusion that the winner of this game will comfortably see off either the Cincinnati Bengals or Tennessee Titans in the next round.
Before that we have an exciting matchup between two of the best offences in the NFL.
The Bills became the first team in the Super Bowl era to score a touchdown on every meaningful drive when they hammered the New England Patriots 47-17. No punts, no interceptions and no fumbles with Mitch Turbisky coming in to take kneel downs on their final three plays of the game.
Kansas City made light work of the Pittsburgh Steelers in their wild card match too, though only after going down 0-7 early in the second quarter. They responded by leading 21-7 at half-time and runnung out 42-21 winners.
This is expected to be a shootout. The sportsbooks have Kansas City as the 2-point favourites and we think they have the edge in terms of explosive plays and speed on the defence that could limit Josh Allen’s threat outside of the pocket and running the ball.
However, this game could come down to Josh Allen’s legs. Expect both quarterbacks to make some big runs in this game. The sportsbooks have set the under/over at 50.5 on the Buffalo quarterback and he’s smashed it over the past couple of games.
Pick: Josh Allen Over 50.5 rushing yards
