Super Bowl LVI Odds after week 2

Green Bay Packers’ commanding victory over the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football concluded week 2 of the new NFL season.

24 hours earlier and defending AFC Champions the Kansas City Chiefs were beaten 35-36 in a thriller at the injury-plagued Baltimore Ravens. Andy Reid’s side fall to 1-1 whilst their AFC North opponents moved onto the same record.

The Chiefs division rivals Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos are the only two teams in the AFC Conference with a perfect 2-0 record, whilst the NFC West alone has three – the Seattle Seahawks missed the opportunity to join them as they below a 15-point half-time lead to surprisingly fall at home to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

Super Bowl Champions Tampa Bay and a fierce-looking Carolina Panthers defence are the other sides to start the 2022 season 2-0.

Despite the week 2 defeat, Kansas CIty remain the sportsbooks’ favourites to win the Super Bowl for the second time in three years, closely followed by the Buccaneers.

The LA Rams and Buffalo Bills are next on the list, whilst the Green Bay Packers have fallen the most since pre-season, courtesy of their 3-38 humiliation to Jameis Winston’s New Orlean Saints in week 1.
