The 2020 NFL playoff schedule was confirmed on Sunday following the final week of the regular season.
Miami Dolphins were the biggest losers as their 26-56 loss to AFC East rivals Buffalo Bills saw them drop out of the playoff places.
The Green Bay Packers wrapped up the #1 seed in the NFC with a 35-16 victory over long-time rivals Chicago Bears.
Kansas City Chiefs had already locked down the #1 spot in the AFC but the Buffalo Bills moved into the #2 with the victory matched by the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 22-24 defeat at the Cleveland Browns. That fixture will be reversed this weekend as the Steelers host AFC North rivals Browns.
Tennessee Titans left it late to beat the Houston Texans and wrap up the AFC South for only the third time in their history. They will host the Baltimore Ravens this weekend in a rematch of last year’s Divisional Round where Mike Vrabel’s side caused a massive upset on the road.
In the final game on Sunday, the Washington Football Team beat the Philadelphia Eagles to pip the New York Giants to the NFC East title. The 7-9 division winners will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wildcard round.
Who are favoured to win the 2020 Super Bowl? Defending champions Kansas City are the 9/4 favourites to go all the way again this year. Andy Reid’s side are followed by the Green Bay Packers at 5/1.
