Super Bowl LIV MVP odds

The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will fight it out for Super Bowl LIV at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida on Sunday 2 February 2020.

Bookmakers can barely pick between the two franchises, with the Chiefs being the ever-so-slight favourites at -1.5 against the line.

The Chiefs reached their first Super Bowl in 50 years by beating the Tennessee Titans 35-24 in the AFC Championship.

On the same night, the 49ers defeated the Green Bay Packers 37-20 at Levi’s Stadium to participate in their first Super Bowl in seven years, when they lost to the Baltimore Ravens. The 49ers last success came in 1994.

With the Chiefs being the slight favourites, their quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, has been made as the 1/1 favourite to win the MVP award. The 24-year-old has been immense all season and led his team to six consecutive touchdown scoring drives to overturn a 0-24 deficit to beat the Houston Texans 51-31 in the Divisional Round.

The bookmakers have made opposition quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo as the 5/2 second favourite to win the prestigious award, which has been awarded to the winning quarterback in nine of the previous 13 Super Bowls.
