Former Real Betis manager Quique Setien has been made the early favourite by the bookmakers for the vacant Watford job.
The Hornets dismissed Quique Sanchez Flores following their 2-1 loss at Southampton on Saturday. The Spaniard only lasted two months during his second spell in charge of the Hertfordshire-based club.
Quique Setien is currently unemployed after resigning from Real Betis at the end of last season. He was actually linked with a move to Barcelona in January 2019, but nothing came of it.
The 61-year-old has spent his whole club management career in Spain but also had a short spell as Equatorial Guinea national team manager in 2006.
Setien has been made the 7/4 favourite to land the job at Watford, who have already gone through two managers during the 2019-20 Premier League season, in which they prop up the table with only one win and eight points through 15 games.
Former England and Everton manager Sam Allardyce is second favourite at 4/1, followed by Alan Pardew at the same price.
