England have been made the new favourites to win Euro 2020 by the bookmakers following the group stage draw on Saturday.
The Three Lions have been drawn in Group D, alongside 2018 FIFA World Cup runners-up Croatia, the Czech Republic and the winners from play-off berth C (Scotland, Norway, Serbia or Israel).
Gareth Southgate’s side will play all three group games on home soil at Wembley Stadium and have seen their odds cut to 4/1 following the draw.
World champions France were the previous favourites among the bookmakers, but Didier Deschamps have been drawn in the group of death, alongside Portugal, Germany and the play-off berth winners from either path A or D. France are now back at 13/2.
With the top two nations automatically progressing to the second round and four of the six third-place teams joining them, it’s possible and perhaps probable, that France, Portugal and Germany all progress from the group stage.
The bookmakers have Belgium as the second favourites at 11/2. Roberto Martinez’s side have been drawn in Group B, alongside Russia, Denmark and debutants Finland.
The current Euro 2020 winner odds are as follows:
England – 4/1
Belgium – 11/2
France – 13/2
Spain – 7/1
Netherlands – 7/1
Germany – 9/1
Italy – 10/1
Portugal – 16/1
Croatia – 22/1
