The Kansas City Chiefs head into the new NFL season as the favourites to win the Super Bowl at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida on 2 February 2020.
Lead by MVP quarterback Patrick Mahommes, who lost the New England Patriots in overtime of the AFC Championship game in Foxboro last season, Andy Reid’s side are expected to go all the way this season.
The New England Patriots are the bookmakers’ second favourites to retain their title in what would be Tom Brady’s seventh if he remains fit until the end. No franchise has more than six, currently tied between the Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers.
The chasing back are some way behind, making for great value if you can see a winner outside of Kansas City or New England. The joint-third favourites ahead of Thursday night’s season opener are the Chicago Bears, New Orleans Saints and Philadelphia Eagles, all at 12/1.
A little further back are the LA Rams and LA Chargers, both at 14/1, and then the Pittsburgh Steelers at 18/1.
The 2020 and 100th NFL season kicks off on Thursday night when NFC North rivals Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears meet at Soldier Field.
