The Group Stage of the 2019 African Cup of Nations is completed and the fixtures for the round of 16 are all setup.
Algeria, Egypt and Morocco were the only teams to pick up a maximum nine points from their three group games, whilst Burundi, Namibia and Tanzania were the only nations who failed to pick up a single point.
The original 25 nations have been reduced to 16 for the next round, which goes into straight knockout ties. Should the result not be settled over 90 minutes then extra-time will be played. Should the result still be tied then a penalty shootout will determine which side progresses.
After the group stage, the pre-tournament favourites Egpyt remain the shortest odds to win the 2019 AFCON. The hosts are 10/3 with Bet365.
Senegal are second favourites at 4/1, followed by both Algeria and Morocco at 8/1. The winners from two years ago, Cameroon, are way back at 16/1 to defend their title.
