Playing Roulette - Tips and Probability
Roulette is one of those classic
Casino games that have penetrated the online gaming world. It is probably
the easiest game to learn, one of the most exciting games around, and
with more and more gaming sites giving players the chance to play
live Roulette, it becomes as good as the real thing.
The game consists of a Roulette
wheel with the numbers 1 to 36 and a “0” and “00”. All you have to do
is decide on where you think the ball will land when the wheel stops
turning. This is where you will put your virtual chips. You place your
bets and the wheel starts to roll.
If the ball falls on your number,
you get the payoff quota according to the table shown below.

There are two types of Roulette
around—the American and the European. The difference is that in the
European version, the “00” is excluded thus increasing your chances
of winning. Another difference is that in American Roulette, if the
ball stops on “0” and you bet on the 1:1 ratio, you lose all your stakes.
But in European Roulette, if your bet ratio is 1:1 and the ball stops
on “0”, you still have a chance of getting your money back if the ball
stops in your favor the next time it is spun.
Refer to the table below for
the differences in payoff quotas:

Winning the Game
Different sites offer different
variations of winning the game. But if you really come to think about
it, there is no real strategy for winning in online roulette just as
there is no real strategy for winning in real casino roulette.
The most common strategy gamblers
use in all casino games is the Martingale Strategy. This is where you
double your bet every time you lose and then go back to your starting
bet when you win. The logic is that when you use this strategy, your
wins will be able to cover the losses of your earlier game.
You can play Roulette at any
of the Casinos reviewed on this site, if you want to play live
